As movable pool floors become more sophisticated and accessible, they are changing how designers and homeowners think about the role of the swimming pool. For Twinscape, their Hydrofloor technology is increasingly shaped by practical concerns: improving safety, reducing maintenance, conserving water, saving energy, and most of all, increasing the utility and value of precious square footage.
Building adventure, preserving views, and creating a backyard full of experiences were the marching orders for this multifaceted Las Vegas desert oasis. As Terence Thornton explains, the project also came with its own venomous mascot.
